THE FUTURE OF HIGH PERFORMANCE SURFBOARDS

The S Boss design incorporates several stand-out features for next-level performance. The blunt nose shape, parallel rails, medium rocker profile, and Slater’s signature double concave to Vee bottom contour give this board tight radius turns and total control across varying conditions.

According to Dan Mann, the S Boss has been his go-to board for excellent waves over the past two years. He worked closely with Firewire to refine the dimensions, volume distribution, and rail shape to optimize its performance for intermediate to advanced surfers.

CONSTRUCTED WITH CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY

In addition to its progressive shape, the S Boss utilizes a range of advanced construction technologies to achieve the perfect blend of strength, flex, and sustainability.
Firewire Ibolic Technology
The deck laminate combines basalt fiber cloth with Entropy Super Sap bio resin. The basalt fiber, made from volcanic rock, provides high heat resistance and lively flex, while the bio resin enables a strong, eco-friendly deck.

Firewire Volcanic Technology

The lightweight Paulownia wood rails withstand impacts while keeping weight down. Firewire’s I-Beam EPS foam stringer allows fine-tuned flex patterning. High density composite skins on the bottom provide durability and drive.

DESIGNED AND TESTED FOR OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE

The S Boss is intended for waves in the waist high (2 ft) to overhead (6 ft+) range ridden by intermediate to advanced surfers. The wider outline generates speed while the concave bottom turns tightly off the tail.

Early testers report the S Boss comes alive underfoot to deliver extremely responsive performance. From cruisers to barrels, this board is sure to find its way into many quivers.

With its progressive design and construction, the S Boss represents the cutting edge of high performance surfboards. We can’t wait to see the world’s best put this new shape to the test!
